This feat has captured the imagination of audiences over a century as one of the most amazing demonstrations of Escapology. To the audience it seems like an incredible feat probably involving years of practice and special skills. In fact the straight jacket supplied has been gimmicked in a most clever manner – allows you to escape in minutes.

Size: Standard – Adult

Take and show the audience this beautiful wooden box.

Open the front door and take out a silk handkerchief.

Close the door and hand this box to a spectator, explaining that it should be handled with care, as it is a very valuable object.

Make the handkerchief disappear by your preferred method, telling the spectator that it will reappear inside the box.

Ask the spectator to carefully open the box.

As soon as the spectator opens the box, it falls completely apart, crashing to the floor with a terrible roar!

BUT WARNING: the missing silk is actually hanging INSIDE THE BOX!

You pull out a bunch of very colourful socks from a laundry hamper explaining to the audience that it's hard to choose which ones to wear on a daily basis...from your exciting collection!

You hand out 8 single and different socks to 8 audience members to hold.
