The magician places a regulation die on top of a solid metal sheet, and covers the die with a cloth, to hold it in place. The die is unable to move in any direction. Upon the magician's command, the die visually penetrates through the metal sheet and falls into the glass below! Your audience can see the die through the cloth up until the last moment, as it slowly penetrates downward. The magical effect is stunning! The magician hands a spectator a normal die numbered one through six. The magician takes the die and throws it into an opaque cup. The spectator is asked to cover the mouth of the cup and shake or rattle the die inside.
